Job Description

Manage a Team of Technical Salesforce resources and be responsible for driving the Salesforce Platform development, implementation. Will collaborate with multi-functional teams (management, Architects/Administrators, UX designers, Sales Team members, SME’s and various IT Functional Teams) to lead deployment of Salesforce modules and other platform.

We are looking for a proactive individual that can help us continually improve and enhance our Salesforce platform, gathering requirements and feedback and designing best practice solutions with a strong understanding of the Salesforce platform.

This is a varied business facing technical role.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify and gather requirements from users and stakeholders 
  • Design solutions, work with Architects and review design
  • Be able to drive stake-holder meetings, plan and prioritize across multiple priorities
  • Be able to accurately scope and plan work-item(s) and deliverables
  • Walkthrough stakeholders through designs and get buy-in
  • Develop the solution based on design working with cross-functional IT Team(s)
  • Must be able to document end-to-end process working with stakeholders
  • User training and creating training materials 
  • Work with users in completing UAT
  • Monitor adoption
  • Manage on-site and offshore resources. Team building skills a must.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with certifications and experience, Master’s degree or relevant experience and certification is desirable
  • Good communication and presentation skill
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce and the eco-system
  • Preferred Credentials:
    • Salesforce Platform App Builder Certification
    • Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification
    • Salesforce Lightning Component Framework Specialist (Trailhead Super Badge)
    • Salesforce Lightning Experience Specialist (Trailhead Super Badge)
  • Understanding of Salesforce sharing and security (roles, profiles, permissions, OWD, sharing rules) 
  • Experience implementing Salesforce configuration changes including (but not limited to): Workflow, Process Builder, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings, dashboards and reports 
  • Solid experience Integrating Salesforce with SaaS, down-stream systems
  • Must have strong grasp of Master Data (CDM, PDH etc)
  • A proactive attitude to platform enhancements 
  • A desire to implement best practice solutions 
  • Excellent relationship-building skills and ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels 
  • Gathering requirements and proposing technical solutions 
  • Training users and creating training materials
